New Orleans Day 4
Today it rained. And rained. Luckily we worked inside, and got any work we needed to get done outside finished between rain showers. We worded at a different site today – finishing trim work, moving tile, working on the floor… and then hopped over to another site and prepped the outside of the house for the primer we were going to apply tomorrow.
The rain actually provided us with a nice chance to talk to the homeowners. Carol and her 92 year old father in law were there, and invited us in out of the rain. We squeezed into their little living room and hung out, listened to their stories. They seemed so glad that we were there, and talking with them about life, food, New Orleans culture and more was one of the highlights of my day.
