Project 31: Thirty One Days in the Book of Proverbs

New Series for The Element!
Take the Project 31 Challenge

This March at The Element, we will be focusing on the book of Proverbs! Its time to get "in the know" when it comes to the practical guidelines that God gives us for everyday life. This month, we don't want it to just be a series of sermons... we want it to be a month of life-change! We are challenging EVERY Element student to commit to reading a chapter of Proverbs a day for the 31 days of March!

Why Proverbs?

I think the first chapter of the book explains it pretty well:

Proverbs 1:1-4 (Message Translation)
These are the wise sayings of Solomon,
David's son, Israel's king-
Written down so we'll know how to live well and right,
to understand what life means and where it's going;
A manual for living,
for learning what's right and just and fair;
To teach the inexperienced the ropes
and give our young people a grasp on reality.

This month we want The Element to get an idea of how to live well for God, dig into their "manual for living," establish regular Bible reading times in their lives, and anchor themselves in Proverbs 1:7: 7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction...
